Jeff joined the Nations Lending team and serves as the Regional Business Development Manager and mortgage loan originator for central California and the central coast.  Jeff resides in Tehachapi, California with his wife, and daughter where he enjoys everything having to do with family and small town living.

Shortly after graduating from college with a Real Estate Finance degree in 1994, Jeff LaMonte began his mortgage career as an originator, serving the Kern County area of California.  Specializing in state sponsored lending programs (CalPERS/STRS), he quickly expanded his scope to marketing, training and sales management positions covering the entire state of California.

Working for the top Mortgage Banking Company in the nation, and then Bank of America Home Loans, Jeff became a Divisional Sales Performance Executive where he was responsible for sales efforts, activities, and critical production metrics for Central/Northern California and Hawaii.  Jeff continued in his career with the bank and served as a National Integration Executive for mortgage product, pricing, and credit, within Home Loan Sales.

With over 40 years living in Tehachapi and over 27 years in the lending industry, he loves what he does and he loves where he does it.

Laura Johnson, Senior Loan Officer, has lived in the Tehachapi area since 1975 and has been a mortgage professional for over 6 years with a long history in Title, Escrow and industry related fields.  Laura’s knowledge of all sides of the mortgage transaction allows her to provide an unparalleled level of service for her borrowers and business partners.

Laura has also been recognized as an affiliate of the year in the Tehachapi Area Association of Realtors®. Laura has a family history in Tehachapi that traces back to the late 1800s. She brings her experience from Dignifed Home Loans,  iMortgage and First American Title.

Ron Depew, Senior Loan Officer and Sales Manager, has more than 35 years in banking and lending experience. Ron is deeply connected to our community through his activities with the Greater Tehachapi Economic Development Council (current board member), Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce (past chairman), and the Tehachapi Relay for Life (original co-founder). He was previously with Dignified Home Loans, and Guild Mortgage before joining the Nations Lending team.
